The Queens County Young Democrats congratulate Queens Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani on his decisive victory in the New York City Democratic Mayoral Primary.

Our organization is dedicated to uniting and engaging young adults in the democratic party throughout Queens. Now, a 33-year-old nominee from The World's Borough, has a strong chance to succeed to lead our city.

It is imperative that we now unite behind Assemblyman Mamdani in the general election this fall, to ensure a Democratic victory.

We must focus our energy on uplifting and defending our Democratic values as our city, young people, and historically marginalized groups face mounting attacks from the Trump Administration.
