Thanking Assemblymember Cook for 35 Years of Service

We, the Queens County Young Democrats, extend our deepest thanks to Assembly Member Vivian E. Cook for her decades of dedicated service to Queens and the communities of AD 32.

First elected in 1990 as the first woman to represent the district, she has been a tireless advocate for education, affordable housing, and community improvement throughout Southeast Queens.

From the building of Baisley Park to helping Rochdale Village residents stay in their homes, she has been a trailblazer for our neighbors in Queens.

We wish her a happy and well‑deserved retirement and thank her for her leadership and commitment to improving the lives of generations of Queens residents.
